Believing God’s Perspective, Design, and Purpose for Women
What kind of woman did God design you to be?
- Are you searching for your true identity, purpose, and worth?
- Have you been discouraged and confused by what the world says and what the enemy tells you?
- Do you find yourself caught in the trap of comparison, a cycle that the devil loves to wash over us, then spin, and repeat: “You’re not enough. You’re less than. Your ideas are stupid”?
What we choose to believe may depend on our individual experiences and the people who have influenced our lives.
Believing God’s Perspective, Design, and Purpose for Women focuses on one source and one author—the Bible and Almighty God.
As we study God’s Word, the wisdom we acquire empowers us to dispel deceptive myths and emerge with a solid identity in Christ. God’s Word has the power to transform us in every area—physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and relational.
This Bible study brings hope. Confusion and pain in the dark space is replaced by warmth, light, love, and truth.
Discover how God designed women to be like pillars and cornerstones (Psalm 144:12) that are strong, beautiful, wise, and refined, with significance and vital role in our culture today.
When we shine the light of God’s truth and live according to its encouragement and insights, we break through the veil of darkness. Then, like a million flickering diamonds against a pitch-black backdrop, we shine.
The question is: Will you believe God?
Full Description
Hi friends! I am so grateful that you have chosen to study God’s word with Believing God’s Perspective, Design, and Purpose for Women. We need to explore the Bible together. Why? Well, a lot of reasons but here’s just a couple. Many of us believe in God but doubt His words. Others believe what He says but tell themselves that God’s words and promises are meant for others. How do we know this? Look around.
We recognize defeat on women’s faces.
We hear fear and confusion in their conversations.
And many of these women are Christians desiring to follow God.
Now wait. I’m not talking about a bad day or crying sad tears. Crying is good for us, and a bad day is normal.
I’m talking about habitual defeat—a way of life. Satan’s behind this. He schemes to break us—to shatter our true identity and render us ineffective. Because what we think, how we respond, and what we do, hinges on our identity.
Like many of you, I’ve been on the receiving end of Satan’s attacks on my identity and self-worth. All of them were (and still are) vicious; some are subtle. Flashbacks make my heart race—for two reasons. First, sadness flows from identifying the deception that significantly shaped my thinking from childhood. Second, anger. Yep. Anger. Although I was a Christ-follower, I didn’t have the knowledge, spiritual maturity, or tools to help me figure out what is truth and what is a lie.
Why is it easier to believe lies?
I wish I had fully understood the value, worth, and mission of a woman when I was younger. It’s evident that millions of women of all ages are still trying to figure out her worth and role.
You may feel inadequate. In one way, there’s no shame in that. Humility leads us to seek God’s direction in whatever we do. This is especially true when we seek God’s help to correct a faulty mindset or attitude.
A crisis in self-worth attacks our self-confidence squashing our joy and suppressing what could be a victorious, productive life. Often, we’re stuck, wondering how we can fulfill our God-given purpose—those desires He placed within our heart. Maybe we don’t mean to, but comparing ourselves to other women fuels this self-sabotaging mindset, a cycle the devil loves to wash over us, then spin, and repeat:
- You’re not enough.
- You’re less than.
- Your ideas are stupid.
For decades, women across the globe have heard the same speeches, debates, and protests. We’ve read thousands of articles and books. Yet we question our value and worth. Of course we do. There’s a lot of conflicting information. Diverse philosophies, ideas, and experiences make womanhood a controversial topic. The book you’re holding, however, is based on one perspective and plan—God’s.
God’s book, the Bible, contains life-altering principles to guide and help us better dispel the myths surrounding who we are in Christ. We can have God’s truth right in front of us, and His empowering Holy Spirit living within us. How amazing! God has given us our senses to experience His truth first hand.
Hebrews 5:14 tells us, [Our] senses [are]exercised to discern both good and evil.
In this study you will engage your senses and be challenged to:
- think differently, more decisively, more consistently
- see yourself through another lens
- say what you wish you had known
- feel invigorated and enthusiastic
- smell the sweet aroma of a confirmed or validated identity in Christ
- hear God’s loving voice
- act on new convictions
Expect to be influenced or touched uniquely. We cannot spend time in God’s Word and not be different—in fact, transformed!
Together we’ll do more than just believe in God. We’ll believe Him. In John 14:10–11 Jesus said three times Believe Me.
As we read and study passages in God’s Word, the wisdom we acquire will impact all areas of our daily life—physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and relational.
When you finish this study, I pray you will emerge with a solid identity that propels you to live out your purpose in victory.
When we shine the light of God’s truth, we break through the veil of darkness. Then, like a million flickering diamonds against a pitch-black backdrop, we shine.
